Rebecca Ambrose is a native of El Paso, in West Texas, “the land of skin cancer and sunburns”. Being of Irish descent and fair-skinned, she learned early on the importance of education and prevention in regards to skin health. She caters services customized to her patient’s individual needs, and considers education an important part of that service. Rebecca has over 14 years of experience as a licensed aesthetician with 11 of those in medical aesthetics.
She trained alongside Dr. Heather Fork and Dr. Daniel Ladd, Jr., both board-certified dermatologists, and learned effective techniques to treat acne, melasma, photo-damaged skin, rosacea, and other skin conditions. Rebecca’s philosophy has always been to “treat my patient’s skin as I would my own, and to help make a difference in their lives to help them feel more confident and beautiful”. She is well-versed in microdermabrasion, various chemical peels, as well as photofacials and laser hair removal.
Rebecca has extensive training in the following skin care lines: NeoStrata, Precision MD, Glytone, Neocutis, Obagi, and SkinCeuticals, as well as the line of Clarisonic products, and has recently completed the Beauty Saves Lives training event to spot skin cancer given by Dr. Daniel Ladd, Jr., a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She is also currently working on her NCEA certification.
