Tru-Skin Dermatology is offering Telehealth Cosmetic Consultations appointments where new and established patients can address their skincare concerns while in the comfort and safety of their home. Our providers will tailor a skincare regimen specific for each of our patients and suggest cosmetic services that may be completed at a future time or product recommendations for immediate purchase.

Below is what you can expect and how to prepare for your Telehealth Cosmetic Consultation:

Scheduling Your Telehealth Cosmetic Consultation

You can request an appointment online by using our chat feature or by contacting us at our Telehealth Appointment Request form. You may also request an appointment by calling us at 512.451.0139 or text us at 512.359.3163 to schedule your Telehealth Cosmetic Consultation with the provider of your choice and for the time and day that best fits your needs.

Once we receive your request, one of our Patient Concierges will connect with you to confirm your appointment. At that time, you will be sent all necessary e-forms through a Klara text message or via email, if preferred. You will need to complete paperwork before your telehealth cosmetic consultation.

Our Telehealth Cosmetic Consultations are $50 and will be collected at the time of scheduling your appointment. Your $50 payment will be applied to future cosmetic services or for skincare products.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

  • To allow for the best experience possible, please have your questions and skincare concerns ready for your provider.
  • Choose an area in your home that has the best lighting for visuals so your provider can best address your concerns and has the best internet connection or mobile service signal.
  • For your provider to further understand your concerns and needs, please have a clean face with no makeup at the time of your appointment.
  • If you will be utilizing the PocketPatient app on the day of your appointment, you will need to download the app which is available at the Apple Store or Google Play. We will provide you with your EMA Patient Portal login information and temporary password if you are a new patient or if you are an existing patient and have forgotten your login information.

The Day of Your Appointment

  • A Patient Concierge will give you a phone call 5-10 minutes before your appointment. At this time, he or she will verify your information and verify all e-forms are completed.
  • You will be sent a link via email or text to start your visit using one of the mentioned telehealth platforms.
  • Once you have entered the telehealth platform and logged in, you will be in a virtual waiting room until your provider begins the video visit.
  • After your cosmetic consultation is complete, you will be connected with one of our Patient Concierges to schedule your future cosmetic service or help you purchase any skincare products.
