Dear Valued Patient,

Tru-Skin Dermatology hopes you and your family continue to stay safe and healthy during this difficult time. As we navigate toward the end of Stay-at-Home orders, we continue to ensure the safety of our patients and staff to provide the best experience possible.

We are proud to announce that as of Wednesday, April 22, we opened our schedules to provide more medical appointments in all our offices. Our providers may see patients in office for the following appointments:

  • Excisions
  • Cyst removal
  • AK, Verruca, or ISK cryosurgery
  • Biologic injections
  • New or suspicious growth or lesion
  • Hair loss
  • Full-body skin exams
  • MOHS
  • Benign tumor removal
  • IL injections
  • Superficial Radiation Treatments
  • Rashes
  • Acutane
  • Keloids

Tru-Skin Dermatology’s Telehealth Appointments will remain available to you as well where you may see the provider of your choice from the safety and comfort of your home. Please be advised not all visits can be achieved through telehealth. A patient scheduling specialist will discuss the appropriateness of your medical issue for telehealth appointment.

For the protection of our patients and staff, we will continue following guidelines and protocols set forth by the Center for Disease Control. We screen all our staff and patients for fevers.

We ask that you call ahead and discuss the need to reschedule your appointment if you develop a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Patients are required to arrive alone unless a companion is required.

You will be required to wear a mask to ensure the safety of you, other patients, and Tru-Skin staff.

Tru-Skin Dermatology is adhering to strict disinfection protocols in all offices by wiping exam tabletops, countertops, exam beds, doorknobs and exam light buttons/handles between each patient. Our staff are also washing and sanitizing hands between patients as well as wearing personal protective equipment which includes face masks, protective eyewear and gloves.

We are continuously evolving our practices and protocols during this pandemic because the health of our patients and staff remains our top priority.

Warmest regards,

Daniel J. Ladd, DO Medical Director
